MSG Community Stage - Bankside Open Spaces Festival 2023

Join us in Marlborough Sports Garden on 10 June 2023 from 12pm for community performances, dance workshops, sport, stalls and craft. All showcasing what’s wonderful about our Bankside community- that’s what Bankside Open Spaces Festival is all about!

Performances and dance workshops:

12:30-1pm Elephant and Castle Choir

1.05-1.40pm Jig and a Swig

Jig and a Swig is a social adults Irish dance class in London Waterloo. They’re on a mission to bring people together through Irish dancing - so join them for a free dancing session at Bankside Open Spaces Festival!

1.50-2.20pm International Gospel Choir

Returning to our MSG Community Stage, we can’t wait to hear from the ever uplifting International Gospel Choir with their amazing repertoire of gospel, funk, soul, jazz and pop!

2.20-2.30pm Fossil Free London Climate Talk

Hear from activist group Fossil Free London, who work to oppose the fossil fuel industry in our city.

2.30-3.10pm Superarts

These young dance performers know how to get the party going - for the past two festival they’ve brought their talent and energy to the stage and encoraged us all onto the floor!

3:20-3:50pm Brixton Orchestra

This versatile group of instrumentalists give thrilling live orchestral experiences for wide-ranging audiences - we’re delighted to welcome them to Bankside Open Spaces Festival.

4-4.30pm Salsateca

Free salsa lesson to lift your spirits! Try out a new skill, or wow your friends with your secret skills - we love taking a spin on the dance floor with Salsateca!

4.35-5pm Nunhead Choir

A fun, friendly group that just loves to sing. This fantastic community choir covers pop classics, show tunes and folk songs from all around the world.

5.05 - 5.35pm Bermondsey Voices

Our local choir for women who love to sing - enjoy rock, pop, opera, folk, blues, barber shop and more!

5.40 - 6.10pm Tango Integral

Free tango lesson delivered by the most friendly and professional teachers fully trained in Argentina. Closing the MSG Community Stage with passion!
