Crossbones news

The community gardening team at Crossbones Garden of Remembrance have been hard at work replanting some of the areas in the garden with seasonal bedding plants to add a bit of colour as we enter the grey season.

Our volunteers will also be learning to 'lay' the hedges with TVC - The Conservation Volunteers on the 14 December. You can join us on that day to help decorate tree at Crossbones, pop along anytime between 10am to 3pm!

Other good news bubbling up from Crossbones is that a local resident is busy brewing our first ever 'Crossbones beer' from hops grown on site!

The Crossbones volunteer warden team is growing steadily and we're now often able to open the garden on Saturdays and Sundays as well as the regular Wed- Fri sessions 12-2pm.

We're always on the lookout for more wardens so please get in contact (or call 020 7403 3393) with us if you're able to spare any time and learn more about this important historic site.
