On the Seventh Day of Christmas, we give to you – seven volunteer groups! We run seven regular volunteering groups across our sites with over 50 volunteer gardeners working tirelessly to keep our open spaces looking beautiful all year round.

At Crossbones our 30 wardens give up their time every week to ensure this garden, that means so much to so many, remains open for all to visit. More than just wardens, these wonderful people often enhance our visitors’ experiences of Crossbones with a story or listening ear.

Our volunteers also get stuck in at events. This year our hardworking crew have also entertained families at Tate Community Garden with a Halloween craft event, helped thousands of people enjoy the Great Get Together and will get us all into the festive spirit at our Merry Mingle on the 13 December.

We can’t thank our volunteers enough for braving every type of weather Britain throws at them in their quest to keep our parks and gardens in award-winning condition. Superstars every one!
