Treasure Hunt funds new gardeners!
We are so pleased to have been chosen as the charity partner for Better Bankside’s Charity Treasure Hunt 2019. This fun event encourages Bankside businesses to get creative with their colleagues to solve clues, embrace some wacky challenges and get to the finish line as quickly as possible.
This year the money from teams’ registration fees will support our free training course, Future Gardeners. This 10 week course is designed to help people find work within the horticultural sector. It’s aimed at those who’ve been out of work for a while, or who struggle to access training or further education. We get people work-ready with practical hands-on learning, careers advice, work experience and a City and Guilds qualification.
The money raised will help us grow more gardeners – around 76% of those who finish the course find work in the horticultural industry.
