SEND Festival of Sports at Marlborough Sports Garden

Marlborough Sports Garden played host to The PE and School Sports Network's SEND Festival of Sport last month, funded by The London Marathon Charitable Trust.

We welcomed over 100 pupils from 6 schools to our site to take on 6 sporting activities specially designed for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. The activities, which included football, handball, cricket, multi-skills, capoeira and volleyball, were led by specialist coaches and supported by experienced staff. All participants were celebrated with a medal and certificate too!
