The Winter Warmer is a free event inviting our community to get together and bring a little light and warmth to the winter chill.
Please note wreathmaking costs £5 and there is a small charge for refreshments - all monies raised supports the garden and Bankside Open Spaces Trust's work throughout London's SE1.
Octavia Hill’s Celebration
Held on the birthday of Octavia Hill, social reformer, who founded the garden in 1886, it is both a celebration of the garden and of all those who visit and enjoy the space throughout the year.
This year the Winter Warmer is delighted to be part of Bankside's Frost Fair - a season of winter events inspired by fairs held 24 times from 1605-1814 when the River Thames froze. Hot drinks and spiced snacks will be on the menu this year as they were 200 years ago!
