It's Carnival Time!

Waterloo Carnival takes to Waterloo Green again on Friday 12 July and we’re proud to support this fantastic community event. We are inviting carnival goers to learn more about the green and our recent developments on the site too – we’ll be hosting a bug count with charity Buglife. The creators of our new play sculptures will be on hand to teach children how to ‘play’ the spider’s web and we’ll be doing some planting in our new biodiverse beds. Bankside Open Spaces Trust will also be burying a time capsule created by pupils at Oasis Academy Johanna - a slice of recent history to be rediscovered in 20 years’ time! The procession starts at 2pm on Lower Marsh and enters the green for bug fun from 2.30pm – see you there!
