Help us transform Marlborough Sports Garden
Take part in our survey and shape the future of our well-loved sports facility in SE1.
Bankside Open Spaces Trust has secured funding from Southwark Council to develop Marlborough Sports Garden, our busy sports-focused open space just off Borough High Street. Working with architects Cullinan Studio, we are drawing up plans for a building and extra sports facilities so that we can improve what we do and increase the activities we can offer.
The Marlborough is well loved and hosts fantastic coached sessions for children and young people throughout the year, as well as sports for adults and events – but we’d love to do more for the health and wellbeing of our community. Greening the site is another priority – trees to add shade and planting to cool the air and absorb pollution too.
We are working to develop a colourful, environmentally friendly design but we need your help to make sure the new Marlborough has what our local community needs. Take part in our survey and have your say about the future of Marlborough Sports Garden.
