Join the party....Volunteer at The Great Get Together Bankside

On Sunday 24th June, we are hosting what is likely to be the biggest street party the area has seen, with everything from bake offs to bark offs. It’s all part of ‘The Great Get Together’ - a nationwide event inspired by Jo Cox. Help us host this amazing event!

Last year, a record nine million people gathered across the UK as part of 'The Great Get Together' event, and the Bankside event broke all local records with over 4,500 people taking part.

This year we are expecting an even bigger and better event, and we are now looking for keen, creative individuals between the ages of 18- 65  to be Volunteer Stewards, supporting the production and security team on various shifts from 8am to 10pm.

Volunteer duties include:

·  Welcoming the public to the event

·  Handing out event guides and children safety wristbands

·  Supporting the security team

·  Traffic management

·  Litter picking

·  Assisting head stewards with setting up and d-rigging

·  Collecting feedback from attendees

·  Artist liaison

There will  the opportunity to volunteer on Saturday 23rd June (6-9pm) decorating the sites.
