Recycling reveller’s rubbish at Waterloo Green

We are pleased to report that our plans to shut Waterloo Green early on New Year’s Eve contributed to a quieter evening on the green and no damage to the site. A litter pick on New Year’s Day collected nine bags of rubbish.

We were delighted that Local Waterloo fish and chip restaurant Master Superfish allowed our staff to use their recycling bins. This meant that for the first time we were able to recycle all the collected rubbish and start the New Year as we mean to go on as a low impact organisation. Fantastic community spirit too!
