Event Volunteers needed!

Do you love being outside and taking part in community events?

If this sounds like you, then come and join our team of event volunteers as part of the Bankside Open Spaces Festival on 25 September 2021, 12-6pm.

Our one-day festival this year is all about reconnecting the community and getting back together again - with music, food, community information, children’s activities, dance, sports, art and games - all held in the safest possible way, out in the open air.

To help run the event smoothly we are looking for a group of volunteers to help us on the day – can you spare a few hours of your time? No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and willingness to get involved. We have all sorts of roles from helping to decorate our gardens to welcoming visitors and giving out information leaflets.

The festival takes place across our sites in Borough SE1, Red Cross Garden, Marlborough Sports Garden and Crossbones Graveyard. We’ll be welcoming groups from across the community to perform, run workshops and hold stalls too. It’s been a tough couple of years for all of us so we want to share our open spaces a place for everyone to reconnect and have fun again.

If you’d like to get involved by volunteering, taking part or having a stall please email sarah@bost.org.uk
