Families are warmly invited to celebrate Earth Day and Easter with us at Earth Day Egg-Splorers.

This is a free, fun-filled event taking place on Tuesday 21 April at Red Cross Garden.

Running from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, this interactive afternoon is designed especially for local children and their parents or carers, offering a chance to enjoy the garden while discovering simple ways to care for the planet.

ECO TASKS STAMP CARD

Children can take part in a range of hands-on eco activities, collecting stamps as they go before heading to the prize station for a small reward. Activities include:

  • Rot or Not: learn what can and can’t be composted
  • Bin it to Win it: test your recycling knowledge
  • Sprout & About: plant your own sunflower or nasturtium to take home
  • Water Wonders: explore the fascinating life in and around ponds
  • Pledge for the Planet: make a promise to help the environment

There will also be a special visit from the Easter Bunny, plus opportunities for photos and plenty of time to explore the garden.

This event is a great way to connect with nature, meet others in the community, and learn something new in a relaxed and welcoming space.

No booking is required, just drop in and join the fun.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you to our funder Southwark Council Neighbourhood Fund for making this event possible.
